IELTS
The International English Language Testing System (IELTS) is a globally recognized test designed to measure the English language proficiency of non-native speakers. It evaluates four key skills: Listening, Reading, Writing, and Speaking, ensuring a comprehensive assessment of language ability.
There are two test types:
Academic IELTS, for those pursuing higher education or professional registration.
General Training IELTS, for migration, secondary education, or work-related purposes.
Each section is scored individually on a Band Scale from 1 (non-user) to 9 (expert user), with an overall band score calculated as the average. The test is accepted by over 11,000 organizations worldwide, including universities, employers, and immigration authorities.
The Listening and Speaking sections are the same for both test types, while the Reading and Writing sections differ to suit the test's purpose. IELTS ensures a fair evaluation with tasks reflecting real-world language use, making it the preferred choice for those seeking academic or professional growth globally.
